I’m a Gen X woman born under the sign of Libra, a mother of two young adults and a self-described sigma female. With a passion for travel and adventure and a belief in its educational value, I have explored six continents, over 50 countries, and hundreds of cities, including every US state and Canadian province. Creating memories with my children, often through spontaneous road trips, is also important to me.
Lisa’s career / journey through the world of real estate is truly inspiring. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in building and construction, she gained invaluable hands-on experience from an early age. Lisa’s extensive background in real estate is a blend of practical experience and formal training. Her strong foundation in the industry instilled a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into building and renovating homes.
For a time, Lisa worked with her brother, a successful architect, in Chicago and expanded her understanding of design principles and architectural integrity, which she now integrates into her real estate practice. This experience enhances her ability to evaluate properties critically and advise on potential renovations or design changes that can maximize value. With over 20 years of experience in real estate sales, and 40 years of property management, Lisa has not only built a successful referral-based business, she also leverages her extensive knowledge in design, contracting, and personal development to offer her clients, and guests, a unique experience.
Her commitment to personal development and continuous learning is evident in her certifications in various coaching and leadership methodologies, including NLP, Time Line Therapy, and the Enneagram, to name a few. Lisa’s unique niche in incorporating Feng Shui, design, and décor into her offerings sets her apart in the market. She believes that a home should not only be functional but also harmonious and reflective of the occupants’ personalities. This holistic approach resonates with clients seeking a space that enhances their lifestyle and experience. Additionally, Lisa’s experience as an owner-operator of Airbnb properties adds another dimension to her expertise. For the past 13 years, she has successfully hosted guests, which has equipped her with unique insights into the short-term rental market.
